AWESOME WEATHER!!! AND A GUY IN A STATUE OF LIBERTY SUIT!!!

the weather this past week has been A W E S O M E!!!!
(with the exception of wednesday...)
most of this week has been spent outside because it's so great!!!
me and my brother have gone on the river trail TWICE, and it's been soooo cool.
it's almost like spring!!!
and i loooovvvveeee spring!!!
i love winter too... but... after four months of coldness and windyness and snowwwwww.... i get really excited for spring to start finally!!! :)
oooooh, and another great thing... every thursday i have piano lessons at my grandmothers house, and there is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS this guy in a statue of liberty suit, and he just stands on the corner and waves at everybody. For the past MONTH i have been trying to wave at him but he never sees me!!! (don't ask me why i want to wave at some guy in a statue of liberty suit... because there is absolutely no explanation whatsoever :) ) SO, today i finally got to wave at him!!! AND HE WAVED BACK!!!! i was practacally jumping for joy in my car (if that's possible) this is the most exciting thing that has happened to me in this whole week!! I love thursdays!! and great weather!!! great weather and thursdays!!!! :)

My New Years Resolutions

This year, I have made some resolutions.

I do this almost every year, and end up breaking them within the next week.

but these one's are different!

1: learn tons of hymns

2: learn tribute (jon schmidt)

3: keep room clean (this one has already been broken)

4: write in my journal every night + read scriptures (did you know that my dad kept a journal? it's pretty awesome to see what he was thinking when he was my age :) )

5: get an A in math (this one will be veeeerrrryyyyy tricky)

6: learn all of me (another jon schmidt*)

Do you guys make resolutions? I think that they are very helpful in some ways. If you havn't ever done it... i suggest that you do!

*jon schmidt is a totally awesome pianist that i absolutely love. :)

I've been getting this email a lot lately and I feel that I should share it.

It's Official!!!

The Christmas season has finally come!
it is now legal to listen to christmas music!
our family tree is up and decorated!
our house is covered with lights!
Christmas break is coming!!
I'm so excited! in my last post i was stressing about how annoying it is that christmas comes before thanksgiving, but, now that thanksgiving is over, i'm so happy!
christmas to me means that i get to have family come stay at my house, there isn't any SCHOOL for two weeks, (yay yay yay yay yay) and there's lots of good food!!! especially cookies!!! my mom makes these shortbread cookies, and they are SO GOOD!!!! seriousley!!! i think some of you have probably gotten a plate of them on past christmases...... :)
