DIY wire-button rings

Sorry it took me so long to get this post up!! But here it is, better late than never.

Materials~
Jewelry pliers
Wire cutters
Cutesy buttons {two or more}
Jewelry wire {I used a thinner one, you can use whatever}

 {pliers and wire cutters}
 {cutesy buttons}
 {wire}

Directions:
1. Cut a 6-7 inch piece of wire and measure your finger.
{This can be done multiple ways.. either use an actual ring sizer or do what I did down below}

2. Start threading the buttons through the wire.

3. Bend both pieces down so that they're flat {like the piece on the left}

4. Once you've reached this point, you can do pretty much whatever you want. With this pink one, I twisted the wire in circles then clipped off the excess.

With the purple and green ones I took extra wire off to the side and wrapped it around the ring band

That's basically it! Super easy, right?
Have fun with it and be creative!

Peanut Butter

Random laugh of the day

Today I would like to talk about peanut butter. Why? Because it is quite scrumptious and I just so happened to be eating some right this very minute.

A Poem:
Peanut butter is addicting.
It goes with many other delicicious things... such as pretzels.
I love peanut butter.
the end.

Inspiration/adorableness of the day
You've just been pep-talked!!

Slacker

Wow... I've been slackin'.
A lot has happened since January first! I've just passed my 3 month mark of my sugar free year and I'm feelin just DANDY! Really. It's just peachy.
Many many friends have recieved their mission calls to all the corners of the earth and I am OH SO EXCITED for them! I know that they will all be WONDERFUL missionaries!
My iPod got ran over by a car. True story. Let's just say that nothing belongs on the top of the car. NOTHING.
AAANNNNDDDD.... my birthday is coming up! 16, my friends. it's HUGE. Dating and driving. {aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh}
OK! and that's all. I'm going to be posting some tutorials and some music stuff on here more often, so BE PREPARED!

Today was fantastic. it got all the way up to 50 degrees today!
{because 50 degrees is warm, right? only in UT... :D}
Anyway, I spent the day finishing my arrangement of the song Mexico {by the Staves}, and will hopefully be soon recording the vocal version and this new instrumental version {piano and guitar}.
I'm pretty excited with where my music is going.
Jessie and I have been doing a lot of good stuff, and we really want to record it soon.

happy saturday,
hanna

P.S.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It's always been a tradition to stay up till midnight doing who knows what on new years eve and then run outside at the stroke of twelve to light off a flare. One time my grandparents who live up north a few miles lit one off and we were able to see it from down here. It was pretty sweet :D
I hope that everyone has had a fantastic new years day!
Me? I spent mine in my pajamas, playing animal crossing and watching a movie where the narrator tried to convert me to becoming a vegan. It was strange.
Half of us over here have the flu but are recovering steadily. Hopefully nobody else got sick!

Today marks Day One of my sugar free 2013.
I'm already having withdrawls.
Why can't I ever have a withdrawl on a carrot or a tomato?
I don't understand it.
The last sugary thing that I ate before I started was a raspberry filled powdered donut and boy...  it was delicious.
Anyway, happy new year!
