I have recently started reading the book Little Women, and I'm at this part where the March family and Laurie, (the boy next door) create their own mailing system in a bush. Laurie sends stuff to the Girls, the girls send stuff to Laurie, they send notes to their mother, etc.
It suddenly dawned on me that it would be amazingly fun to do something like that! I mean, why not? It's like email, just.... in a bush, you know? I just think that it would be really fun. I actually tried something like that with my brothers but they were still learning how to write so it didn't really work out... :D
Also! It's official!
I auditioned for a piano solo for our choir dinner THIS SATURDAY, and I made it!!! Along with several other YW from the amazingly amazing sixth ward! (now, don't you wish you bought tickets??)
Oh! I do wish I could have bought tickets. Way to go Hanna!! I am so proud of you.
ReplyDeleteI loved that part of the book in Little Women too. For awhile my sister and I did that. We'd hide messages to each other behind a photo hanging on the wall upstairs in our house. I also loved the part in the book Anne of Green Gables when Anne and her friend would wave a piece of cloth to each other across the woods signaling to each other to meet. You and Jess should come up with some sort of a system. :D
Thank you thank you thank you! Yes we should!! I think that would be TONS of fun :D But knowing us, it'd probably end up being super intense and funky... :D
ReplyDeleteSorry! i didn't know in time! but that is so amazing! u have posted a ton! i really need to get on more!!!
